The Ashland Electric Department is currently seeking to add one or two team-oriented employees to fill one or two of the following positions:

    • Superintendent: an experienced professional with excellent leadership skills and a minimum of five years as a Journeyman Lineman.
    • Journeyman Lineman: an experienced lineman that has successfully completed NEPPA Lineworker training or a similar program and has three or more years of line operations experience.
    • Apprentice Lineman: an entry level position for someone that has experience in  line operations and/or recently completed mineworker training.

Police Officer  (posted October 17, 2019)

The Town of Ashland is currently seeking candidates to fill a full-time patrol officer position. We are a team of progressive, dedicated professionals with a community policing mindset. Ashland is the geographical center of New Hampshire sitting at the foot of Little Squam Lake.

Successful candidates will have the ability to pass a thorough background investigation, psychological and polygraph examinations, and a physical agility test. You must be a U.S. Citizen, possess a valid N.H. driver’s license and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
